About Us

IRIETIMES was created in 1997 as a magazine in the city of Lauderhill South Florida. It had several writers, including Vinette Pryce (who is still with us), Winston Barnes, T. Boots Harris (deceased) and Danny Brekenridge. In 1998 Iritimes.com was created as a broader and more effective entity to be viewed on the new world wide web,covering mostly the entertainment and fashion industry. It grew slowly but effectively throughout the years.
In 2009 irietimes.com moved to a new level in live streaming, showcasing at that time, mostly South Florida DJ's playing from their homes and at selective venues like restaurants, and Caribbean events. They have travelled to many events and places including Sandals Resort to do live streaming from the properties, which no one has ever done before. We proudly serve 7 Continents, over 147 countries and thousands of visitors monthly and growing. We have selectors from, USA, Jamaica, Canada and more to come.
